Help Design the Heart of Uptown

The Department of City Planning is holding a 3-hour design exercise to understand what kind of development and open space the public would like to see at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Dinwiddie Street. The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and City of Pittsburgh own properties on both sides of the intersection, an important gateway between the Hill District and Uptown. This will also be the sight of a future Bus Rapid Transit stop. We want to hear from all community members, partner organizations, and design and development professionals. Bring your knowledge and creativity!

 

The URA plans to issue a Request for Proposals for the redevlopment of the site, and this is your first chance to provide input. The session will be held:
